Creating an enjoyable and stress-free environment for pet owners and their pets is one of the most important requirements here at DogsLove2Run. There are a few stages of stress for dogs: Alarm, Resistance, and Exhaustion. Alarm is the original encounter with the stressor, resistance is the fight or flight reaction and exhaustion is the long-term impact of stress on your pet’s body. You might be wondering what stress in dogs looks like. According to the American Kennel Club; stress in your loved pets shows in many ways. Some indicators of stress include:
Tail tucking
Ears pinned back
Raised hackles
Panting and/or yawning
When the whites of the eyes are showing
Growling
Freezing and/or pacing

DogsLove2Run has ensured that employees who work with the dogs on pack walks, in daycare, and in the treadmill trucks know what stress indicators to look out for to ensure that our furry friends are able to enjoy their experiences without being stressed or uncomfortable.
Dogslove2Run is committed to ensuring that all employees are committed to ensuring pets are relaxed, comfortable, and enjoying their exercise experience.
